Court of Life™ · Live Product Demonstration

From Product to Human Position.

Live Play 001 uses a real Charleys restaurant environment to demonstrate how the Court of Life™ can recognize a product, engage the senses, identify a position and turn an everyday encounter into a positive participation prompt.

Demonstration No. 001

One environment. Multiple layers.

This is an interpretive demonstration, not a representation of sponsorship or endorsement. The framework observes what is already present in the environment: food, sensory input, a visible “OWN IT” message, a physical place and a community-information display.

Step 01 · Sense

What do you notice?

A food environment does not operate through taste alone. It can simultaneously engage sight, sound, touch/feeling and smell. The demonstration begins by making the participant aware of the sensory inputs already present around them.

IndexSEEBranding, people, food, space, words and visual signals.
LittleHEARConversation, kitchen activity and messages in the environment.
ThumbFEELThe environment, interaction, mood and physical experience.
MiddleSMELLFood preparation and other environmental signals entering through smell.
Primary in this playTASTEThe food/product experience becomes the primary sense entry point.

Step 02 · Position

From observation to position.

The Court of Life™ does not stop at noticing the words “OWN IT.” The message becomes a prompt: what does taking ownership mean in the participant’s own position right now?

Own It

The participant takes a real-world message and converts it into a personal responsibility, decision or action rather than treating it only as advertising.

01Think

What do I need to take ownership of?

02Act

What specific move can I make now?

03Positive

Can the action improve me, another person or the environment?

Step 03 · Play the Court

Enter as a player.

Start Live Play 001 to enter the Court of Life™, see the detected product, sense and position, then answer one prompt at a time through Think → Act → Positive.

From a live play to TAP to the Map™.

The Charleys demonstration does not stop after the participant answers the game prompts. The next layer is to connect the move to a place, position and measurable participation record.

Participation + Measurement

The experience becomes measurable.

The system can begin tracking participation activity instead of only presenting information. Over time, this can support a broader participation and impact layer across products, locations and organizations.

SEE IT. SENSE IT. POSITION IT. OWN IT. TAP IT. LIVE IT. MAP IT.

From a product you can taste… to a position you can live.

The world becomes the museum.

Step 04 · Public-benefit information layer

The product does not have to end at consumption.

The restaurant environment also contains a visible Charleys Kids Foundation display. In this demonstration, that display functions as an information point showing that a commercial environment can contain a separate community or charitable dimension.

BPM does not evaluate or endorse the foundation’s programs through this demonstration. The point is architectural: the system can distinguish different layers operating in the same place.

Operating architecture

Watch the engine move.

This longer flow is the internal operating architecture. Public-facing explanations can remain simpler—Sense → Position → Participate → Connect—while the system underneath handles the additional stages.

1SelectProduct / Place

A real restaurant and food environment becomes the entry point.

2SenseNotice

Recognize the five senses activated by the environment.

3PositionOwn It

Interpret the observed message as a human OSBW position.

4TAPThink · Act · Positive

Convert the position into a deliberate positive-action prompt.

5ParticipateMake a Move

The participant chooses what they will take ownership of.

6MapConnect Place

Associate product, sense, position and action with a physical location.

7ReflectWhat Changed?

Consider whether the action improved self, another person or environment.

8TransmitShare the Move

Future implementation can connect the experience to the wider network and measurement layer.

Reusable demonstration library

One format. Many companies.

Live Plays are designed as reusable Court of Life™ demonstration modules. Future product, service and community examples can use the same page structure while changing the product, sense, OSBW position, participation prompt, location and public-benefit layer.
